The AutoCAD there are some types of programming that we can use for design automation. Among them using AutoLISP, VBA, SCR and others.On this occasion we will discuss one of them is by using Script (SCR).SCR is the most simple programming to be used. Because as we use the manual drawing AutoCAD command in general.

Example we will make a script to draw a polyline based on a collection of coordinates in Excel.

1. Write coordinates in an Excel file
2. Save as file into * .CSV
3. Open the .CSV file we had been using Notepad
4. Add one row above and typing "._PLINE" because we want to connect titik2 with polyline
5. Save the file into the extension * SCR (AutoCAD sript)
6. Open AutoCAD, go to the tab "Manage"> panel "Application"> "Run Script" or can use the command "SCRIPT"
7. Select a file * SCR we had to run the script.

If we want to create multiple polyline then give a blank line before the start of a new script. Examples such as the following script:

 

 So basically he will call PLINE command (polyline) then enter the coordinates.
